VibeRoller Patent No: US8,500,663 B3

ABSTRACT The present invention is a vibrational roller utilizing a motorized vibrational drive using a plurality of eccentric weights and associated supports. The weights are positioned along the axis of rotation in a manner to synchronize them and minimize vibrational dissipation throughout the roller. Each weight has at least one associated support. The supports then transmit vibrational forces to the surface of the roller in an evenly distributed manner. A second co-operational motor may be used to extend motor life and aid in initiating vibrations. A control panel and associated circuitry are utilized to alter vibrational characteristics. The roller may be battery powered or powered through a standard wall outlet. The roller itself is manufactured of a durable yet deformable material, such as foam rubber, and may be inserted into selectable sleeves of varying physical properties for desired effect.

Pock Optics Cleaning Kit: Patent Publication No.: US20130180873 A1

ABSTRACT A portable field optics maintenance kit fit into the form of a cloth wallet. An easily portable compact wallet accessory to properly maintain and clean optics that are used in the field away from where most optics cleaning kits are stored.
Blade Style Super Computer: Patent No.: WO2008070814 A3

ABSTRACT An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for a scalable, composite, reconfigurable backplane. The backplane is made up of one or more blade aggregation modules which provide switching for attached devices. The blade aggregation module connects to transition cards that then connect with blade modules. The blade aggregation module provides connectivity to the connected modules, which may connect to a second blade aggregation module through the transition cards. The transition cards may additionally connect with unit aggregation modules to connect rows of blade modules together. Transition cards can also provide outside connectivity. The backplane, made up of blade aggregation modules, transition cards, and unit aggregation modules, is highly scalable and versatile, and also provides an unblocked airflow path to facilitate cooling the blades.

Super Computer Blade Design: Patent No.: WO2008070175 A3

ABSTRACT An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for a modular blade. The blade has a first carrier card and a second carrier card. At least one of these cards connects into the backplane of a blade server and provides connectivity for the modular blade to the backplane. The carrier cards also provide connectivity between their respective attached devices. In order to increase the density available in a modular blade, the computing components on the first and second cards interleave with one another such that a maximum number of components fit in a minimal space. The modular blade also provides an airflow channel for air circulation necessary to provide cooling. The first carrier card and second carrier card may also be identical, with one of the identical pair rotated one-hundred and eighty degrees with respect to the other.

Locking jack for a window well cover. Patent No.: US8555562 B2

ABSTRACT A window well cover jack is disclosed. The window well cover jack has three arms: a base arm, a support arm and an actuator handle, all connected to aid in the lifting of a window well cover and to allow egress. In one embodiment, the jack is lockable in a stowed position. It is also possible to add a spring assist to aid in the lifting of a window well cover. Ideally, the window well cover jack is also lockable in a deployed position to aid in holding an ajar window well cover so as to facilitate escape. A simple link, which is easily broken by emergency crews with the proper tools but secure against intruders without said tools, connects the window well cover jack to a window well cover.

Optical Support Device Patent No.: US 20130181024 A1

ABSTRACT Disclosed herein are embodiments of a device for transferring the weight of an optical device to the body of the person using that optical device. In some devices, a support harness with shoulder straps is used to bear the weight of the optical device transferred by a support frame. The support frame may be temporarily attached to the optical device and/or support harness for easy assembly and disassembly. In some embodiments, the support harness is collapsible into a compact size.

Thermally Actuated Turntable for Conventional/Convection Cooking Ovens
Patent No.: US 20110240005 A1

ABSTRACT The present invention is a thermally actuated turntable suitable for conventional and convection cooking ovens, which posses uneven temperature/cooking characteristics. By means of coupling dissimilar materials, each having a wide variance in their respective coefficients of thermal expansion, the relative linear expansion of these materials caused by the ambient heat found in the cooking chamber of an oven can be utilized in such a way as to create a thermo-linear motor and thus produce relatively small linear displacements of the actuator with relatively high force capabilities. This linear displacement can then be magnified by means of the mechanical advantage of levers to produce sufficient linear displacement of a rack and pinion gear set which is capable of producing multiple rotations of an attached platter during a typical short duration cooking cycle. This slow speed rotational motion is very advantageous for cooking short duration food item
